Starting Friday, November 27, the Yolo County Central Landfill will be reopen to the public for self-haul service. The Landfill, located at 44090 County Road 28H in Woodland, will be open Monday - Saturday from 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will be closed on Sundays. No cash or EBT is being accepted at this time, only credit card and check payments.
Self-haul service was suspended late last week after two staff members working in the scale-house building entrance tested positive for COVID-19.
All customers will be required to wear a face covering before utilizing Landfill services and must physically distance from others. These measures are being implemented with the public’s health in mind as well as for the health and safety of County workers. The Esparto Convenience Center is still closed to the public until further notice.
