It is important to get tested, even if you do not display symptoms. A no-cost COVID-19 testing site in West Sacramento is now available through Friday, July 3rd. It's located at Club West, 1125 Riverbank Road on the north side of Bryte Park.
Testing is by appointment only and can be made by calling (888) 634-1123 or completing an online application at: http://lhi.care/covidtesting. Testing is open to anyone in the community regardless of documentation status.
This is not antibody testing; this is to test if individuals currently have COVID-19. Residents must wear a face covering to their appointment and practice social distancing.
If you test positive for COVID-19, it is crucial to self-isolate for at least 10 days. It is also important to note the difference between quarantine and isolation. Isolation is a 10 day period where those who are sick or who have tested positive should stay away from others, even in their own home. If you have had close contact with someone who has tested positive, you should remain in quarantine. During quarantine, be sure to monitor for any symptoms and to stay away from high risk groups for at least 14 days.
