Personal Care Services to Resume In West Sac June 19

(Woodland, CA) – Effective Friday, June 19, Yolo County will begin allowing personal care services, as outlined in the State of California’s guidance and June 12th announcement, to resume operations while also following strict social distancing requirements and the mandatory use of face coverings in accordance with local health orders.

Most of the recently confirmed cases in Yolo County have been due to social/family gatherings, some workplace exposures, and travel to other counties, states, or countries. There has not yet been evidence of transmission in Yolo County related to recently reopened activities and given this current information, the County will allow personal services to resume as stated by the State.

The following activities are allowed to resume effective June 19 under ‘Personal Services’ as long as they 1) follow State and/or County guidance, 2) adhere to the County’s face covering order; 3) comply with strict social distancing protocols:

  • Skin care and cosmetology services
  • Electrolysis
  • Nail salons
  • Body art, tattoo parlors and piercing shops
  • Massage
